In March 2019, Clare found herself struggling with a large amount of personal debt, with no assets or financial safety net. Since then, she has rebuilt her relationship with money from the ground up, growing a community of 88k people on Instagram, authoring three books and writing for a number of national publications in the process. Clare now works with both brands and individuals to address financial wellbeing and bring a new perspective to what has sometimes been a stale conversation. Clare’s empathy and compassion-focussed approach helps people to set aside their money shame and start to build confidence and connection with their finances.

Clare’s Background

Clare works with businesses in a number of different ways, tailoring services to suits business needs and KPIs. She doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to talks, consulting, coaching or brand partnerships, instead aiming to create something new and authentic with each new relationship.

Part memoir, part guide, Real Life Money takes the reader on a journey that can be adapted to their own pace and circumstances. It covers everything from how to negotiate repayment terms with creditors and setting realistic budgets without punishing yourself, to dealing with money anxiety.

The Real Life Money Journal is the first planner that targets the link between our emotional wellbeing and our financial situation. The result is a practical workbook for people who need something deeper than just expense tracking and meal planning. It guides the user through the steps required to recalibrate their finances on a deeper level, helping them to prepare for difficult conversations, set achievable goals, create their own personal budget - and then stay on track.

While it may be true that money can't buy you happiness, you will struggle to find balance and contentment in all other areas of your life when you aren't in control of your finances.

In Five Steps to Financial Wellbeing, Clare Seal walks you through five straightforward, achievable steps to take to change your relationship with money for good, and in doing so, change the rest of your life for the better.
